We had a fascinating discussion last night on John Batchelor’s nationally syndicated radio show on the new global complexities of manufacturing, on the U.S. government’s efforts to ensure that its statistics capture these new realities, and on how the Obama administration is capitalizing on these developments to make U.S.-based manufacturing look stronger and more competitive than it really is.
