I’m pleased to announce that a new op-ed of mine on the China trade talks has just been published by The Washington Times. Click here to read the piece, which explains why a new, high tariff normal is coming to U.S.-China economic relations, and why these and other tighter curbs on commerce represent the only long-term approach that can adequately serve American economic interests.
In addition, I’m slated to be returning tonight to John Batchelor’s nationally syndicated radio show to help John, co-host Gordon G. Chang, and former Michigan Republican Congressman Thaddeus McCotter update the fast moving negotiations between Washington and Beijing. You can listen live on-line to the segment, scheduled to begin at 9 PM EST, at this link. And as usual, if you can’t tune in or log on, I’ll be posting a link to the podcast as soon as one’s available.
And keep checking in with RealityChek for news of upcoming media appearances and other developments.
