I’m pleased to announce that the podcast is now on-line of my interview late last night on Frank Morano’s “The Other Side of Night” radio show on New York City’s WABC-AM. Click here for a lively conversation on the Ukraine war, inflation, global economic decoupling, tariffs…and Buck Showalter???

In addition, a video is finally available of a Voice of America (VOA) interview I did last Monday, April 11, on the state of U.S.-China economic relations. Happily, the Chinese language service of this U.S. government foreign broadcasting agency is now offering telecasts that feature the English-language audio of non-Chinese speakers (like me) with the Chinese content in subtitles. So it’s much easier for non-Chinese speakers to understand that non-Chinese content than under the previous system, which featured simultaneous Chinese translation over the interviewees’ barely audible voice.

I’m pleased to announce that the podcast is on-line of my interview yesterday morning on WABC-FM radio with Frank Morano on…just about everything under the sun! Subjects ranged from the prospects of conservative populism staying nationally competitive in the United States with Donald Trump out of the White House to the emerging new era for Major League Baseball’s New York Mets.

Go to this website to listen and click on the play button on the “Future of Trumpism” episode. My segment begins just after the 24-minute mark.

I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be appearing this morning on Frank Morano’s WABC-FM talk show to size up the odds that a Trump-ian kind of nationalist populism can keep dominating Republican Party politics whether the President stays on the national scene or not — and remaining competitive in presidential elections. My segment should start at about 10:30 EST, and you can listen live by visiting this site and clicking the play button next to Frank’s name in the upper right-hand corner.

Special bonus — we’ll also be previewing the possibility of a new era for baseball’s long-beleaguered New York Mets, and reviewing the state of my back (which is getting better).

If you can’t listen this morning, of course I’ll be posting a link to the podcast as soon as one’s available.

And keep checking in with RealityChek for news of upcoming media appearances and other developments.

I was hoping to post a podcast of my interview last night on Frank Morano’s WABC-AM New York City radio show, but “technical difficulties” unfortunately kept on interrupting the segment. What a shame, because when our connection was working, we not only got in some good exchanges about my recent articles on America’s lost lead in semiconductor manufacturing and on (offbase) charges that President Trump is a phony populist. We also provided blinding insights about the state of play of billionaire Steve Cohen’s purchase of the New York Mets!

So I’ll hope to return to Frank’s show soon. And in the meantime, keep checking in with RealityChek for news of upcoming media appearances and other developments.
