I’m pleased to announce that two new videos of recent interviews are now on-line.

The first is the recording of my aforementioned appearance on Newsmax TV‘s Liquid Lunch program last Friday, and covers the U.S.-China trade conflict and the weekend summit between President Trump and Chinese dictator Xi Jinping.  Here’s the link.

Second, I appeared again last night on i24News to analyze both the Trump-Xi trade truce, and Mr. Trump’s historic visit to North Korea and meeting with that country’s dictator Kim Jong Un.  Click here, and press the download button to access it.

Finally, John Carney’s review yesterday on Breitbart.com of recent U.S. manufacturing data quoted my views.  Click here to read.

I’m pleased to announce that two podcasts of interviews last Friday are now on-line.

The first is an appearance on Frank Morano’s Morano Whenever podcast recorded Thursday afternoon.  Frank has interviewed me before on his early Sunday morning talk show on New York City’s AM 97 The Answer station.  But in contrast to those relatively brief segments, this interview went on for more than an hour and covered topics ranging from the U.S.-China trade conflict to New York Yankee baseball to my own personal experience as a stutterer (about which you can read a bit more here).  And it was all the more fun because we did the program in studio!

I hope you find it as enjoyable to listen to as I found expounding on these subjects.  Here’s the link.

That evening, I returned to the U.S.-Israeli TV network i24News program Clearcut to help provide an update to the Sino-American trade war and preview the summit between President Trump and Chinese dictator Xi Jinping that took place in Japan yesterday.  Click on this link and press the download button to watch.

For the record, I was correct in predicting that the meeting would end in an agreement to resume talks officially, but with no timetables set for progress on any of the issues at stake.  But I was wrong in predicting that no progress would be announced on any individual issues.  (I analyzed the actual results in yesterday’s post.)

My fellow panelist, Mitch Roschelle, from the global consulting firm PwC, was wrong in predicting that timetables would be agreed to.  But he was right in anticipating that the two leaders would agree to more simply to begin talking again.

Finally, on Friday, I appeared on the Newsmax TV program Liquid Lunch to talk about the trade war and the Trump-Xi summit.  No word on a podcast yet, but I’ll post one ASAP if one becomes available.

I’m pleased to announce that a major new article of mine on the future of U.S. foreign policy has just been published in The National Interest.  Titled “America First at Home and Abroad,” it looks at the heated debate over President Trump’s approach to international relations from a wholly new standpoint.

Rather than attacking or defending the President’s stances, the piece argues that Mr. Trump’s departure from the nation’s decades-long globalist strategy is much more bark than bite so far, describes what a genuine ‘America First” policy capable of attracting public and political support would look like, and makes the case that such a strategy is likeliest to serve U.S. security and economic interests going forward.

In addition, I’m scheduled to return to John Batchelor’s nationally syndicated radio show tonight at 9 PM EST to help John and co-host Gordon G. Chang provide updated coverage of President Trump’s China trade policies.  Click here to listen live on-line to what’s sure to be a timely and provocative discussion.

And last night, the Newsmax TV program “Newsmax Now” ran a backgrounder segment on U.S.-China trade relations based largely on my analysis of the subject.  Here’s the link; the backgrounder begins at about the 33:40 mark.

I’m pleased to announce that an interview I did this afternoon on Newsmax TV has just gone on-line. The subject: my Lifezette.com article Tuesday on how China’s new domestically produced commercial jet could become a major threat to America’s Boeing and to the nation’s longstanding aerospace predominance.  Click on this link to watch.

Also, it was great to be quoted yesterday in this Ozy.com article on how President Trump’s trade policies could affect the ports in the southeast part of the country.

Finally, I’ve got an interview coming up Sunday with the BBC on China’s “One Belt One Road” initiative, which many observers fear (or hope?) will make the People’s Republic the globe’s economic leader in the twenty first century. Check in with RealityChek for the details on broadcast time, and for news of other upcoming media appearances and other developments.
