I’m pleased to announce that the podcast is now on-line of an interview of mine last night on “Breitbart News Tonight” about the role China has been playing in the American presidential campaign lately.  For a timely discussion of whether President Trump or his presumptive Deomocratic rival Joe Biden has been soft on China, click here and then scroll down till you see my name beside the April 22 recording.

In addition, it was great to have my views featured in an April 16 Plastics News post on the chances that the newfound American interest in more secure, resilient industrial supply chains will spur the significant reshoring of manufacturing to the United States.  Click here to read.

I’m pleased to announce that I’m scheduled to return tonight to John Batchelor’s nationally syndicated radio show tonight to talk about the latest developments in the U.S.-China trade conflict. The segment is slated to start at 10 PM EST, and is especially timely because a top-level Chinese delegation has just arrived in Washington, D.C. for talks aimed at ending this face-off.

You can listen live on-line here to what’s sure to be an insightful discussion among John, me, and co-host Gordon G. Chang. And if you can’t, as usual, I’ll post a link to the podcast as soon as one’s available.

Also, a little earlier today, my recent finding about some historic (and not in a good way) news about American manufacturing wages was written up by Frank Esposito in Plastics News. Click here to read it.

And on August 17, my views were cited in Curt Mills’ intriguing post on The National Interest‘s website on a possible new turning point in President Trump’s trade policies. Here’s the link.

I’m pleased to report that, thanks largely (but not entirely) to the firestorm set off by President Trump’s announcement of steel and aluminum tariffs, it’s been a busy media period recently.

At the crack of dawn (literally!) this morning, I was interviewed on the subject on “Morano in the Morning” on New York City’s AM 970 The Answer. Here’s the podcast.  My segment begins at just before the 16-minute mark.

Speaking of podcasts, here’s the one of my appearance on John Batchelor’s nationally syndicated radio show last Wednesday. The subject, as you may recall, was the prospect of foreign interests taking over one of America’s leading semiconductor manufacturers – Qualcomm.

In addition, in a March 2 FoxNews.com post, Batchelor Show co-host Gordon G. Chang quoted in more detail my views on this proposed deal and the broader subject of foreign takeovers of key defense-related American economic assets. Here’s the link.

Also on March 2, The Christian Science Monitor featured my views on the Trump tariffs in this lengthy news analysis.

In addition, on that day, Lifezette.com‘s coverage of the tariffs included my views at length.

The day before, Plastics News highlighted my analysis of the latest U.S. manufacturing trade figures in this post.

On February 19, in another FoxNews.com post, Gordon presented my views on another proposed Chinese takeover of an important American asset – this time, an entire stock exchange!  Here’s the link.

I’m pleased to announce that I’m scheduled to appear this morning at 9:35 on WAKR-AM’s(Akron, Ohio) Ray Horner Morning Show to talk about the major decisions on trade policy that have started to come from the Trump administration this week.  Click here to listen live.  WAKR doesn’t post many podcasts, but if it does in this case, I’ll put up the link as soon as it’s available.

In addition, I was quoted yesterday in Lifezette.com‘s analysis of the president’s new blueprint for renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).  Here’s the link.

On Sunday, China specialist and John Batchelor Show co-host Gordon Chang featured my views on the final results of President Trump’s 100-day plan to reduce the U.S. trade deficit with China.  The announcement could come any day this week, so click here to read his new Forbes.com post on the issue.

Finally, last Friday, Plastics News spotlighted my analyses of the latest U.S. manufacturing jobs and real wages figures – which didn’t exactly knock it out of the park. Here’s the link.

And keep checking in with RealityChek for news of upcoming media appearances and other events.

I’m pleased to announce that I’m scheduled to be back on John Batchelor’s nationally syndicated radio show tonight at 10:30 PM EST.  Click here to listen live to what’s sure to be a great conversation among John, co-host Gordon Chang, and me about President Trump’s decision to withdraw from President Obama’s Pacific Rim trade deal (the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP).

As usual, if you can’t listen live, I’ll be posting a link to the podcast as soon as one is available.

In addition, I’ve been quoted in two Lifezette.com articles this week.  The first, posted yesterday, dealt with the implications of President Trump’s TPP decision.  The second, posted Monday.  The second, posted today, examines some of the main pro-TPP economic and national security arguments still being made by disappointed supporters.

Finally, today’s edition of Plastics News featured my views on what Mr. Trump’s trade policies might mean for that crucial and extensively traded industry.  Click here to read it.

And keep checking back at RealityChek for news of upcoming media appearances and other developments.
