I’m pleased to announce that I’m scheduled to be going back onto Thom Hartmann’s show on RT America to talk about the turmoil in the Trump White House and how it’s been affecting critical policy issues – notably, the just-concluded summit with Japan’s prime minister. In fact, the segment will draw on my post this morning on the same subject.

The interview will start at 7:15 PM EST. If you don’t receive RT on your TV system, you can watch on line live here. As always, I’ll post a link to the streaming video as soon as one is available.

And keep checking in with RealityChek for ongoing news of upcoming media appearances and other developments.

I’m pleased to announce that I’m scheduled to return to RT America’s The Big Picture with Thom Hartmann tonight to talk about a truly bizarre development — mounting claims that hyper-protectionist China is becoming the world’s leading champion of free trade and economic openness in general.  Click on this link to watch live.

The segment is scheduled to lead off the program at 7 PM EST.  (But as RealityChek regulars know, this can sometimes change.)  As usual, I’ll be posting the link to the podcast as soon as one is available.

Also, it was great to be quoted in three news articles today.  The first, a USAToday piece on President-elect Trump’s job-creation gambits, can be accessed here.

The second, this NBC News post on the same subject, is available here.

The third, a Lifezette.com post on outgoing President Obama’s economic record, is at this link.

I’m pleased to announce that I’m scheduled to return to The Big Picture with Thom Hartmann tonight to talk Trump, trade, and all that tumult recently generated by the President-elect’s tweets about automotive offshoring supposedly encouraged by the North American Free Trade Agreement.  (NAFTA),

I’m pleased to announce that the video is now on-line of my appearance last night on Thom Hartmann’s TV show on RT America. Click here for a great discussion of President-elect Trump’s China trade policy. The segment starts at the top of the program.

Also, I’ve been quoted in this new Lifezette.com article on why there may be less to the new U.S. economic growth figures than meets the eye.

And on December 20, this American Prospect post by a prominent liberal writer tried (unsuccessfully in my view) why folks on the Left should be exceedingly wary about Mr. Trump’s trade policy positions. As you can see, a previous version was published on HuffingtonPost.com.

Keep visiting RealityChek for news of recent and upcoming media appearances and other developments.  Have a great holiday season!  And many thanks to all those who have submitted comments to this blog. I greatly appreciate not only your interest in this material, but the high quality and overwhelmingly civic tone of the feedback.  I’m grateful also for your understanding of my difficulties in responding as soon as I’d like in every case. Rest assured:  I’ll keep trying!

I’m pleased to announce that the video of my interview last night on RT America’s The Big Picture is on-line.  Click on this link for a great discussion between me and host Thom Hartmann on why Trump-style changes are urgently needed in U.S. trade policy.

The interview has (so far) capped an unusually busy period of media appearances.

Today, I was quoted in a nationally syndicated McClatchy News Service article on the possibility that former steel company executive Dan DiMicco will be named as Mr. Trump’s new chief trade negotiator.  (Spoiler alert:  I’m a big fan of Dan’s.)

Yesterday, this Lifezette.com post featured my views on whether or not Congress’ Republican leaders can derail the President-elect’s apparent trade overhaul agenda.

The day before, Newsweek quoted me in an article on Mr. Trump’s likely relations with Big Business’ Offshoring Lobby – and what’s left of the Republican establishment in Washington.

Also on the 14th, another Lifezette report presented my thoughts on another contender for the chief trade negotiator position.  (Spoiler alert:  I’m not a fan.)

On December 5, Newsweek quoted me on the odds of Mr. Trump igniting a trade war with China.

And on December 4, a New York Times piece on the implications of the President-elect’s controversial move to prevent the offshoring of Carrier air conditioning jobs to Mexico.

Keep visiting RealityChek regularly for ongoing news about media appearances and other upcoming and recent developments!
